Effective July 1, 2017, The Florida Building code now requires a mandatory Blower Door test on every new constructed residential building or dwelling before the certificate of occupancy can be issued.

Blower Door Testing, LLC is located in Chiefland, Florida and provides service to all surrounding counties in North Central Florida.

The blower door test measures the airtightness of a building by changing the buildings static pressure with respect to the outdoors and recording the amount of air flow required for that change.  The greater the air flow required to change this static pressure relationship the greater the total size of the cracks and holes in the building envelope.
